Harmonica player, songwriter and singer Egidio Juke Ingala is one of the Europe's top Blues harmonica players with a sophisticated urban style. His harmonica sound has been described as a cross between Little Walter, George Harmonica Smith with a touch of Walter Horton and, you'll agree that his groove swings like mad! Simply put, Ingala has taste. His sound is extremely powerful, and years of meticulous research have led him to obtain what in the States call "big brass tone", which has been honed by many years of success and touring. A subtle combination of tone, phrasing and attack combined with a strong sense of swing are his trademark. Egidio Ingala started playing professionally as a member of the Dirty Hands band in the mid-'90s recording two CDs: "XXX Hot Chili" and "Four Cool Cats".

In 1997 he left the band choosing to hit the road with a new band performing also with some of America's finest blues musicians such as one of his idol, the guitar player Alex Schultz, with whom he recorded also a couple of great albums. Although Egidio has long been known as the charismatic front-man for the Dirty Hands, his solo albums are where his talent shows through most clearly. After several successful European tours he released his first solo album "Nite Life Boogie" in 1999, on the prestigious German label Stumble Records, followed by "Drivin & Jivin'" in 2002 and “Game’s Over” in 2007.

His solo albums are solid productions, highly recommended for harp players and fans of Chicago Blues and West Coast Swing.

Since 2010 Egidio has been working with a new band The Jacknives with whom has quickly established themselves with a solid reputation for delivering highly energetic live performances, along with intoxicatingly melodic, well crafted originals. They are a real band which play blues in the finest Chicago Blues and West Coast tradition thrilling audiences with their explosive performances in different European countries as well, where they often plays at large blues festivals, entertaining thousands.

The Jacknives are Marco Gisfredi, one of the finest Italian blues guitar players today. Marco draws inspiration from the most highly regarded and influential blues guitarists including Tiny Grimes, T.Bone Walker, Pee Wee Crayton, Robert Jr. Lockwood, Jimmy Rodgers, Guitar Slim, Hollywood Fats. Marco is an elegant player who knows in detail several musical styles. Enrico Soverini driving drums and Luca Bernard pumping bass almost meld together into a single instrument – just about the highest praise you can give to a rhythm section. Enrico is also one of the most impressive drummer to emerge in the blues/swing idiom in recent years.

Each song of their repertory is a fully realized musical tapestry with its own mood, feel, and color. And let’s not forget the swing. With their performances the band has established a well-deserved reputation for getting toes tapping, and dance floors bouncing throughout Europe, accumulating also numerous awards and critical praise.
